- – It was a tough go for the Brewers number one draft pick (2018) after his promotion from LoA Wisconsin to the Carolina League. The 6’0″- 170 lb. lefty out of Santiago HS (CA) batted .287 with 13 doubles, 21 stolen bases and a 31:49 BB:K ratio for the LoA Midwest League Wisconsin Timber Rattlers before the organization pulled the trigger, sending him to their HiA Carolina Mudcats affiliate. Turang suffered his very first prolonged stretch of futility batting .038 (1-26) in his first seven games. However he’s showing signs of life, collecting seven hits over his last four games (7-15; .467) including his first three hit effort in HiA last night in the Mudcats 5-4 victory over Wilmington (KC).
