      • – The Pirates number six overall prospect vaulted his way into the Florida State League lead in total bases (153) over Minnesota’s Trevor Larnach (who made his Double-A debut yesterday) after logging a career high in RBi yesterday, highlighted by a sixth inning grand slam in Bradenton’s 13-2 win over Tampa (NYY). Mitchell’s bases full homer was his second grand slam in the last four days, as the 6’0″- 205 lb. lefty out of Rancho Bernardo HS (CA) (2017- Rd. 2) blasted a bases loaded, extra-inning walk-off against Clearwater on July 17.

      • – A nice day at the plate for Dedelow, cracking his twelfth and thirteenth homers on the season, but his time is running out as a UTR qualifier. The 2017 – ninth rounder out of Indiana University will turn 25 on November 15.

      • – It was a tough go for the Brewers number one draft pick (2018) after his promotion from LoA Wisconsin to the Carolina League. The 6’0″- 170 lb. lefty out of Santiago HS (CA) batted .287 with 13 doubles, 21 stolen bases and a 31:49 BB:K ratio for the LoA Midwest League Wisconsin Timber Rattlers before the organization pulled the trigger, sending him to their HiA Carolina Mudcats affiliate. Turang suffered his very first prolonged stretch of futility batting .038 (1-26) in his first seven games. However he’s showing signs of life, collecting seven hits over his last four games (7-15; .467) including his first three hit effort in HiA last night in the Mudcats 5-4 victory over Wilmington (KC).
