    • Two days removed from hitting for his first career cycle, the 18-year-old fell a mere single shy of repeating the feat in the Cardinals Red 5-1 victory over the Phillies White. The 6’1″- 190 lb. lefty grounded out to lead off the Red half of the second inning, but smacked his ninth double of the year in the fourth, sent a two-out, two-run homer over the right-center wall in the sixth and laced a one-out, run scoring triple in the eighth. The Dominican Republic native is batting .375, has a .471 on-base percentage, with seven hits in his last three games (7-9; .778). Burgos also leads the DSL in home runs as well as total bases (84), RBi (40), slugging (.750) and OPS (1.221).
