    • – Marco Luciano isn’t the only Giants hitting prospect tearing up the Arizona League. The 5’11”- 205 lb. Freed, San Francisco’s thirteenth round pick out of Butler University earlier this month has a hit in each of his five games and ranks second in the AZL in hits (10) with Padres number one overall pick CJ Abrams and Dodgers Lasorda centerfielder Edwin Mateo. Freed led the Giants Black squad to a convincing 12-2 victory yesterday over the AZL Reds, collecting four hits, scoring three runs, driving in five and belting his first home run as a pro.
