      • – Signed out of Old Dominion University for $125K, the Royals round 11 draft pick two weeks ago made quite an impression in his first game as a pro bashing two home runs, scoring three runs, driving in four and walking twice in Burlington’s 15-1 drubbing of the Bristol Pirates.

Florida left the inning with a 3-0 lead, and that’s all they needed, as Fire Frog starter Nolan Kingham pitched a complete game shutout, giving up three hits, a walk and striking out seven in a 4-0 win, improving to 4-5 on the season.
