June 16, 2019 – Under the Radar Hitters of the Day

*Top Hitter of the Day*

  • Michael Gigliotti, CF – Lexington Legends – Kansas City Royals –
    • – 3-5, 3B, R, 4RBi, K, SB (29) –
      • – With 2018 health issues behind him, Gigliotti is displaying the top-of-the-order catalyst skills the organization drafted in the fourth round in 2018 out of Libscomb University (TN). He currently ranks second in all the minors with 29 steals, behind only fellow Royal Nick Heath, who’s swiped 38 bags in 52 games for Double-A Northwest Arkansas. Gigliotti is not only flashing his on-base skills, but stellar defense, as he’s gone errorless, posting a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage so far this season.
