      • The Reds fourth round draft pick out of William Penn HS (Philadelphia) in 2018 was batting .250 with a double and seven stolen bases after his first ten games of 2019, but over his next 20 games, the 6’1″- 185 lb. lefty’s bat went south, registering only nine hits in 72 at-bats (.125) including a double, his first triple and home run and one stolen base. Lately, he’s picked it up, batting .267, swatting seven extra-base hits among his 20 hits in 75 at bats.

      • – The Mudcats cleanup hitter continues his breakout season with two more hits last night, including his Carolina League leading thirteenth home run, a two-out, two-run shot over the left field wall, despite Carolina falling short to Salem by a 9-7 score. Feliciano has been a hitting machine lately collecting 18 hits over his last ten games (18-41; .439), and on the defensive side, the 6’1″- 195 lb. righty has registered a 30 percent caught-stealing rate and a .991 fielding percentage in 28 games (and 236 innings) behind the plate.

      • – Young recorded his first three-hit game since May 22, blasted his fifth home run on the year and stole his ninth base in a five run seventh to lead Dunedin to an 8-7 victory over Charlotte.

      • – Luckily for Lewis and the (34-25) Miracle, 22-year-old Lewin Diaz isn’t struggling. In fact, he heads into Friday’s matchup versus Jupiter batting .307, the FSL leader in total bases (104) and second overall in home runs, OPS (.900) and slugging percentage (.550).
