• Niko Hulsizer, LF – Great Lakes Loons – Los Angeles Dodgers –– 2-2, 2 HR (9,10), 2R, 2RBi, 2K – – The Dodgers unranked prospect (Pipeline) clubbed two home runs last night, (and his fourth in as many days), helping lead Midwest League Eastern leading Great Lakes (27-15) to a win over division rival Lansing.  The former Morehead State draftee (2018 – 18th round) circled the bases for the first time with a solo shot in the sixth, giving the Loons an 8-6 lead. He came up again in the eighth and clubbed his Midwest League tying tenth home run, another solo shot, which ended up being the run Great Lakes needed. Despite taking on two more runs in the top of the ninth, Great Lakes ended up beating Lansing by a score of 11-8. The 6’2″- 225 lb. is not only tied with Lake County’s (CLE) Will Benson for home run lead, but also ranks third in total bases (78), leads all MWL regulars in extra-base percentage (.629) and has reached base in 20 out of his last 21 games.
