The 5’10”- 215 lb. righty has a hit and/or a walk in 18 straight games and has failed to reach base in only two of his 32 games this season.

Gonzalez is batting .379 with a .416 on-base percentage, but one could only imagine how much higher it could be if he’d draw a walk, as Gonzalez has yet to record a free pass this season and currently carries a 29:0 K:BB ratio in 30 games thus far.
