      • – In spite of Neal’s first two homers on the season, the Lugnuts right fielder  accounted for only a third of Lansing’s offense, as South Bend Cubs outlasted the Lugnuts in a 13-10 slugfest, knotting both clubs at a 9-8 on the season.

The 2016 – 4th rounder out of Redondo Union HS (CA) is a whiffer of prolific proportions with 37 K’s in 16 games so far this season; and averages nearly two strikeouts per game (1.72) over his 185 minor league games played.
