  • Samuel Huff, C – Hickory Crawdads – Texas Rangers – 4-6, 2 HR (5,6), 2R, 4RBi, 2K – – The Texas Rangers #21 prospect vaulted himself into the South Atlantic home run lead with his fifth and sixth round-trippers on the year; one in each game of Hickory’s double-header sweep versus Columbia. 

California League:

  • Ramon Marcelino, LF – Lancaster Jethawks – Colorado Rockies – – 2-4, HR (5), 2R, RBi – 
  • Brayan Morales, CF – Rancho Cucamonga Quakes – Los Angeles Dodgers – – 4-5, 3B, R, 3RBi, 2 SB (10)

Florida State League: 

  • Julio Rodriguez, C – Palm Beach Cardinals – St. Louis Cardinals – – 2-3, HR (2), R, RBi – (Game 2) – 
  • Riley Adams, C – Dunedin Blue Jays – Toronto Blue Jays – – 2-4, 2B, R, 2RBi, BB, K – – After Adams began the year 4-for-8 in his first two games, the 2017 – 3rd rounder out of the University of San Diego went on a 1-for-15 skid, but has stormed back in his last four games, collecting seven hits in last 14 at bats including his second homer of the season April 18 versus Lakeland (DET). The Blue Jays unranked prospect also carries an 11:8 BB:K ratio and currently ranks as the top hitting catcher in the FSL thus far. 
  • Dermis Garcia, 1B – Tampa Tarpons – New York Yankees – – 1-4, HR (5), R, RBi, K – – Garcia added to his FSL leading home run total yesterday with a two out solo blast in the sixth inning. The 6’3″- 200 lb. Dominican Republic native also leads the league in RBi (18), total bases (37), as well as strikeouts with 23. 

Midwest League: 

  • Tyler Freeman, SS – Lake County Captains – Cleveland Indians –– 1-2, HR (1), 2R, RBi, BB, SB (6) – (Game 2)– The Indians #3 prospect clubbed his first home run (a solo blast in the third) on the season.
  • Geraldo Perdomo, SS – Kane County Cougars – Arizona Diamondbacks –– 3-4, HR (1), 2B, R, 3RBi, 2K –– Arizona’s #6 prospect knocks his first homer of the season, but the switch-hitting Perdomo will have to do a lot more to unseat fellow shortstop Jazz Chisholm who, despite his .111 average and four home runs for Double-A Jackson, is the shortstop of the future for the Diamondbacks.
  • Livan Soto, 2B – Burlington Bees – Los Angeles Angels –– 4-5, 2B, 2R, RBi, K –– The Angels #19 prospect posted his second four-hit performance in his last four games last night versus Peoria.
  • Jerar Encarnacion, RF – Clinton Lumberkings – Miami Marlins –– 1-3, HR (5), R, RBi, BB –– The Marlins unranked prospect continues his assault on Midwest League pitching with his fifth homer, a two-out solo shot in the first inning.  The 6’4″- 220 lb. righty is leading the MWL in hits (25), RBi (17), is now batting .403 and has gone hitless in only one game so far this season (April 6 vs Kane County).

South Atlantic League: 

  • Will Golsan, CF – Asheville Tourists – Colorado Rockies – – 2-4, 2B, 2R, 3RBi –
  • Terrin Vavra, SS – Asheville Tourists – Colorado Rockies – – 4-4, 2R, RBi, SB (6)
