  • Dermis Garcia, DH – Tampa Tarpons – New York Yankees – – 3-5, HR (4), 2B, 2R, 2RBi, K – – The Yankees unranked prospect now sits in a tie atop the pitcher-friendly Florida State League in total bases (33) with fellow-unranked prospect, Clearwater’s (PHI) Madison Stokes after poking his fourth home run on the year, a two-run shot in the first inning off Phillies #17 prospect Kyle Young (who now sits at 0-3 with a 5.40 ERA on the season), a single in the third and a double in the fifth. 

California League: 

  • Casey Golden, LF – Lancaster Jethawks – Colorado Rockies – – 1-4, HR (5), R, 4RBi – – The Rockies unranked prospect ended his six game homer drought in “grand” fashion with an eighth inning grand slam that scored catcher Austin Bernard, shortstop Carlos Herrera and ninth ranked prospect, third baseman Ryan Vilade. Golden now leads the Cal League in home runs, yet the effort was futile as JetHawks pitching gave up 17 hits and 13 runs over eight innings, Visalia (ARI) claimed a 13-4 victory and improved to 12-4 on the season. 
  • Jancarlos Cintron, SS – Visalia Rawhide – Arizona Diamondbacks – – 3-4, HR (1), 2 2B, 2R, 3RBi, BB – – Cintron is making his last season as a UTR qualifier count smacking his first homer on the year, two doubles and his second three-hit performance in his last three games last night versus Lancaster, who’s pitching currently carries Cal League worst 6.06 ERA and 1.70 WHIP.

  • Alec Bohm, 3B – Lakewood BlueClaws – Philadelphia Phillies – – 3-3, 2R, BB – – After starting the season 1-for-his-first-13 (.077), the Phillies number one prospect has gone hitless in only two contests: April 10 vs. Hagerstown and April 18 vs Lexington, has collected six multi-hit games and has raised his batting average 256 points (.333) over his last 12 games.
