Gold grounded out in the fourth, but blew the game open with a two-out grand slam in the sixth, scoring DJ Neal, leadoff hitter Reggie Pruitt and Otto Lopez. The 2016 – 27th round draft pick out of Carolina Forest HS (SC) ended his night with a one-out double in the eighth, then scored on a two-out walk to Mc Gregory Contreras after a third baseman Johnny Aiello strike out.
