Despite the 21-year-old Gonzalez, who hails from the Dominican Republic, batting .345 thus far, he has a 16 strikeouts to zero walks, yet it shouldn’t come as a surprise for those who follow him, as Gonzalez carries a near 7:1 career K:BB ratio.
