The 6’1″- 175 lb. lefty began the year 0-for-11 in his first three games, but has collected all ten of his hits over his last six games and nine of his ten RBi on the season in his last four. Marcelino’s run has pulled him into a tie for the Cal League lead in total bases (27) with teammate Casey Golden.

- Ryan Gridley, 2B – Beloit Snappers – Oakland A’s – – 3-3, HR (2), 2B, 2R, 2RBi – – It was the Ryan Gridley show yesterday, as the Athletics unranked prospect was responsible for three of the four Snapper hits versus Wisconsin (MIL) including his second home run and third double on the season. But the Snappers didn’t need much as Beloit pitching allowed zero runs on four hits over nine innings along with 11 strikeouts.

- Connor Hollis, 1B – Bowling Green Hit Rods – Tampa Bay Rays – – 3-5, 2B, 2R, RBi, SB – – This will be the Houston University alum’s last go-around on the site as he’ll celebrate his 25th birthday in mid-November, but you can’t ignore Hollis posting his first three-hit performance this season.
- Trey Cabbage, RF – Cedar Rapids Kernels – Minnesota Twins – – 2-4, HR (3), R, 2RBi, K– The Twins fourth round draft choice from 2015 proved that getting off to a fast start is important. The 6’3″- 200 lb. lefty began the year 11-for-25 (.440), followed by an 0-for-9 skid, but he collected two hits last night including his third home run, which accounted for all of the Kernels runs, as Cedar Rapids fell to Quad Cities (7-4) by a score of 7-2.
South Atlantic League:
- Anthony Dirocie, CF – Columbia Fireflies – New York Mets – – 2-3, HR (1), 2B, R, 2RBi – – The Fireflies eight-hole hitter has five hits in his last nine at-bats, which included his first home run of 2019.
- Mickey Gasper, 1B – Charleston RiverDogs – New York Yankees – – 3-3, HR (1), 2B, 3R, RBi, BB– The 2018 – 27th rounder out of Bryant College (RI) posted his second 3-hit game of 2019 last night against Greenville, including his first home run.
