  • Ramon Marcelino, LF – Lancaster Jethawks – Colorado Rockies – – 3-3, 2 HR (3,4), 2R, 2RBi– The Rockies unranked prospect blasted his third and fourth home runs last night and has three in his last two games. The 6’1″- 175 lb. lefty began the year 0-for-11 in his first three games, but has collected all ten of his hits over his last six games and nine of his ten RBi on the season in his last four. Marcelino’s run has pulled him into a tie for the Cal League lead in total bases (27) with teammate Casey Golden

California League: 

  • Tirso Ornelas, RF – Lake Elsinore Storm – San Diego Padres – – 2-3, 2B, 2BB, K
  • Austin Beck, CF – Stockton Ports – Oakland A’s – – 3-4, 2 2B, 2R, 2RBi, BB, K
  • Heliot Ramos, CF – San Jose Giants – San Francisco Giants –– 1-3, HR (4), R, RBi, BB –– Ramos’ solo home run in the sixth inning last night pulled the Giants #2 prospect (Pipeline) within a five way tie for the Cal League home run lead with aforementioned Rockies prospects Casey Golden, Ramon Marcelino and Rancho Cucamonga’s (LAD) Connor Wong and Devin Mann.

Carolina League: 

  • Anderson Franco, 3B – Potomac Nationals – Washington Nationals – – 3-5, 2B, 3R, RBi
  • Steven Kwan, LF – Lynchburg Hillcats – Cleveland Indians – – 2-4, 2B, R, BB, 2K 
  • Kyle Isbel, CF – Wilmington Blue Rocks – Kansas City Royals – – 3-4, HR (2), 3R, 2RBi, BB, SB (5) – Kansas City’s #10 prospect (Pipeline) has been on an absolute tear collecting 12 hits in his last 24 at bats (.500) over a six game span. 
  • Seuly Matias, RF – Wilmington Blue Rocks – Kansas City Royals – – 1-4, HR (4), R, 2RBi, K – Speaking of streaks, the 20-year-old Dominican native has clubbed all four of his season’s home runs, five of his eight runs scored and seven of his 10 RBi in his last three games. 
  • Joantgel Segovia, LF – Carolina Mudcats – Milwaukee Brewers – – 2-3, HR (3), R, RBi, BB, K 
  • Mason McCoy, 2B – Frederick Keys – Baltimore Orioles – – 3-5, HR (1), 2B, 2R, 4RBi

Midwest League: 

  • Niko Hulsizer, DH – Great Lakes Loons – Los Angeles Dodgers – – 3-4, 3 HR (1,2,3), 3R, 4RBi, K – – The 2018 – 18th rounder out of Morehead State cranked his first three home runs on the season last night versus South Bend, which vaulted him up the Midwest League total bases ranks (26), behind Marlins prospect Jerar Encarnacion (32) and Cardinals uber prospect Nolan Gorman (33).    
  • Ryan Gridley, 2B – Beloit Snappers – Oakland A’s – – 3-3, HR (2), 2B, 2R, 2RBi – – It was the Ryan Gridley show yesterday, as the Athletics unranked prospect was responsible for three of the four Snapper hits versus Wisconsin (MIL) including his second home run and third double on the season. But the Snappers didn’t need much as Beloit pitching allowed zero runs on four hits over nine innings along with 11 strikeouts. 
  • Jose Fermin, SS – Lake County Captains – Cleveland Indians – – 2-4, HR (2), 2R, RBi, BB, K
  • Will Benson, LF – Lake County Captains – Cleveland Indians –– 1-3, HR (2), 2R, 2RBi, BB, 2K 
  • Connor Hollis, 1B – Bowling Green Hit Rods – Tampa Bay Rays – – 3-5, 2B, 2R, RBi, SB – – This will be the Houston University alum’s last go-around on the site as he’ll celebrate his 25th birthday in mid-November, but you can’t ignore Hollis posting his first three-hit performance this season.
  • Trey Cabbage, RF – Cedar Rapids Kernels – Minnesota Twins – – 2-4, HR (3), R, 2RBi, K– The Twins fourth round draft choice from 2015 proved that getting off to a fast start is important. The 6’3″- 200 lb. lefty began the year 11-for-25 (.440), followed by an 0-for-9 skid, but he collected two hits last night including his third home run, which accounted for all of the Kernels runs, as Cedar Rapids fell to Quad Cities (7-4) by a score of 7-2. 

South Atlantic League: 

  • Anthony Dirocie, CF – Columbia Fireflies – New York Mets – – 2-3, HR (1), 2B, R, 2RBi – – The Fireflies eight-hole hitter has five hits in his last nine at-bats, which included his first home run of 2019. 
  • Mickey Gasper, 1B – Charleston RiverDogs – New York Yankees – – 3-3, HR (1), 2B, 3R, RBi, BB– The 2018 – 27th rounder out of Bryant College (RI) posted his second 3-hit game of 2019 last night against Greenville, including his first home run. 
  • Robert Neustrom, LF – Delmarva Shorebirds – Baltimore Orioles – – 2-3, 2B, R, 3BB
