National League – Top Hitter of the Day

• Jasrado Chisholm, SS – LoA Kane County Cougars (ARI) – Midwest League5-6, 2 HR (14,15), 3B, 4R, 5RBi 
• • The 20-year-old from Nassau, Bahamas continues his breakout season with LoA Kane County. Chisholm clubbed his 14th and 15th homers last night versus Dayton and now sits one home run shy of the league lead (by Clinton’s Ryan Costello-16). It really makes you think how much further along in his career Chisholm would/could be had he not gone down to injury last season, playing only 29 games (with Kane County). It wouldn’t be shocking to see the 5’11”- 165lb. lefty promoted to HiA Visalia to end the season. He’s a year behind in development, but as one of the Midwest League leaders in extra-base percentage (.480), it’s exciting to ponder how potent Chisholm could be in the high octane atmosphere of the California League.
