- I had alot of promise that this would be Crawford’s breakout year. This after being on my International Watch list prior to the 2016 season with an outstanding DSL season in 2015 and a 2017 UTR Organizational All-Star nod. The 6’0″ 180 lb lefty started the season at Rancho Cucamonga with two relief appearances and then one more at Triple-A Oklahoma City. He was sent down to LoA Great Lakes where he continued in the relief role. He didn’t make his first start until May 18th and since has only produced mix results. I did select Crawford as my Dodgers’ “One to Watch” for this season, so there is time for a strong run.
- Manning made his HiA debut yesterday and picked up his third straight win with two coming before his promotion from LoA West Michigan. The #3 ranked prospect in the Tiger’s system has yet to make any of my pre-or-post season list. While with the Whitecaps, the 1st round pick from 2016 went 3-3 with a 3.40 ERA and 76 strikeouts in 55.2 innings. Over his last 3 starts, the lanky righty (6’6″ 190 lbs) has posted a 0.47 ERA (1 ER in 19 IP) along with 23 strikeouts and only 3 walks.

- At 23 years-old Leal has been in the Cubs system since 2012. He was my Breakout (“One to Watch”) choice in 2014 and was a UTR Organizational All-Star in 2016. That momentum came to halt when Leal missed the 2017 season due to injury requiring TJ surgery.
