- Swarmer was a 19th round selection out of Kutztown (Pa.) in 2016, where he debuted in the Arizona rookie league (AZL), making 8 appearances. His sophomore season was unorthodox for a low round pick, in that he started at LoA South Bend; demoted to short-season Eugene; and saw some work at Double-A Tennessee and AAA Iowa.
