National League – Top Hitter of the Day:

I was going to wait until tomorrow to post my first official Top Hitter of the Day, but it’s not often that you see a player hit for the cycle. I wouldn’t say it’s a rare occasion, as we generally see maybe a handful per season, but it is rare to see two players in one game. But even more rare is seeing two players from same lineup achieve the feat. It happened last night

The HiA San Jose Giants laid down an 18-6 drubbing on the Lancaster Jethawks (COL) and leading the way was today’s HOD, San Jose second baseman Jalen Miller. The 2015-3rd rounder out of Riverwood International (GA) started off his 5-7 night with a single in the first, then another in the second. After a fly out in the third and a ground out in the fifth, Miller followed up with a one-run double in the sixth, a solo homer in the eighth and capped off the cycle with a two-out triple in the top of the ninth.
