  • Seuly Matias, RF – LoA Lexington Legends (KC) – Sally League
    • 2-4, HR (3), R, 3RBi, K
    • A consensus top prospect in the Royals system, (BA #3, Pipeline 3#, Prospectus #1), Matias has three round-trippers already this season and proving early on that he has the highest ceiling of any hitter in the organization that includes two-way star Nick Pratto and fellow outfielder Khalil Lee. In his first two seasons as a pro, the 6’3″ – 200 lb. native of the Dominican Republic slugged 15 total homers. Will he slow down? Of course. I don’t want to jump the gun, but Matias could be on his way to a full-blown breakout season.
