** A 38th round pick in 2014, Ferguson immediately hit the DL and didn’t make his debut until 2015 with the AZL Dodgers. He remained in the Rookie League in 2016 by repeating the AZL and getting 2 starts in the Pioneer League (Ogden) before making it to LoA Great Lakes. In those 10 Midwest League starts is where Ferguson enjoyed a mini-breakout. He posted a 2.68 ERA over 50.1 innings with 41 K’s and only 3 walks. The 20-year old 6’3″ 215 lb southpaw had a full-on breakout last season and began to open eyes, as a late draft choice.
