Top 5 Starting Pitchers – (Factor Score) / Highest Level Attained
1. LHP Ryan Borucki – (16) / AAA Buffalo “Solid Stash”**Borucki has been a UTR favorite of mine, but has suffered through injured-riddle seasons early in his career. This included the 2015 season when I named him as my pre-season UTR “One To Watch.” He got a cup of coffee at Triple-A in 2017 after only seeing 7 appearances at Double-A New Hampshire. This was a very promising sign for the 23 year-old, in building upon a successful 2016 season. It’s this sign that leaned me toward the “Solid Stash” tag over the “Legit UTR” moniker, as Borucki makes another UTR Organizational All-Star mention.
2. RHP Josh DeGraaf – (13) / AA New Hampshire
3. RHP Jordan Romano – (11) / HiA Dunedin
4. RHP Andy Ravel – (10) / LoA Lansing
5. LHP Angel Perdomo – (10) / HiA Dunedin “Legit UTR”**Perdomo clings to the #5 spot where he landed after the 2016 season and earning the “Legit UTR”. This would have gotten him a “Solid Stash” label, but Im holding off only because of his inconsistencies this past season.Top 3 Relief Pitchers – (Factor Score) / Highest Level Attained
