As you know, I’d normally place the top daily performer in this spot. However, since this is the final daily post of the UTR HOD regular season, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect to turn the spotlight toward another (lesser publicized) breakout performer of 2017. The 6’3″- 220 lb. Harrison is one of only five players in all the minors this season to hit at least 20 home runs and steal 20 bases. The 2014 – 2nd rounder out of Lee’s Summit West HS (MO) began the year with LoA Wisconsin and in 63 games clubbed 11 home runs and stole 11 bases. The 21-year-old earned a promotion to HiA Carolina League in late June and despite producing semi-consistent numbers, he actually saw an uptick in production. Harrison’s 20/20 feat this season sits amongst the 2017 “Who’s who” of prospects: Atlanta outfield phenom Ronald Acuna (20/37), Philadelphia second baseman Scott Kingery (24/27), San Diego teenager Fernando Tatis Jr. (21/28), and Houston top prospect Kyle Tucker (20/20). Harrison is finally having a true breakout season and is a must-add in deep, minor league fantasy leagues.
