It’s that time of year folks. Jim and I will wind down our daily posts and begin shifting our focus on the preparation for the off-season Organizational All-Star series.

If you’ve been following our posts from early spring all the way through, you would’ve noticed that Jim’s posts have been missing lately. That’s not on purpose. He’s been burning the candles at both ends: a turbulent work schedule, near constant travel and family events that require him to be front and center. It’s incredible to think that Jim has posted anything within the last month. It’s been a struggle, but he’s persevered.

Jim plans to tie up some loose ends on a few delayed posts. Once those are published, those will conclude the daily Pitcher Performance posts. I will continue to post through this week. I’ll cover Thursday, August 17th games and post my final UTR Hitters of the Day on Friday, August 18th. The family and I plan to take some time away before school officially starts in less than a week.

Thus begins UTRMinors off-season prep work. This is where the fun begins.
