  • Richards threw a 6.1 inning one-hitter last time out and repeated that feat last night against Dunedin (Toronto), but added 11 K’s and no walks to the stat line. It’s the first time in the righty’s career that he touched double-digit strikeouts, surpassing his previous high of 9 K’s on May 2nd. Richards might be quite the find for the Marlins, signing him out of the Frontier (Indy) League in July 2016. The product of Drury University (Mo.) made his debut with Batavia and was later promoted to LoA Greensboro last season.
