  • Supak was a 2nd round supplemental pick by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2014, but his performance never reached that of a top pick prospect. He was hindered in 2015 with a shoulder issue and was later traded to the Brewers in December. That trade also included Keon Broxton, so no doubt that the Brewers got a steal. Supak is definitely an under the radar arm within the Brewers system. Since the joining the club, the right-hander has been solid in posting respectable numbers in 2016 and is off to a great start in 2017. The 20-year old has a good mix of pitches with the potential to be a decent #3 starter. If he can maintain his performance throughout the season, look for Supak crack the Brewers Top 25.

National League – Starters
RHP Duncan Robinson (LoA South Bend – Chicago Cubs) 23 years old
7 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 5 K, Win 4-1, 1.52 ERA
  • South Bend has been using Robinson in making piggy-back outings with (him making) seven appearances including three starts. However, the 9th round pick in 2016 out of Dartmouth has been lights-out as a starter. Over those three starts, Robinson holds a 0.52 ERA in 17.1 innings, surrendering 10 hits, one ER, three walks, and 9 punch outs. As you can see, the right-hander doesn’t overpower hitters, relying on control and deception.

LHP Leonardo Crawford (LoA Great Lakes – Los Angeles Dodgers) 20 years old
6 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 5 K, Win 2-2, 5.04 ERA

5 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 5 K, Win 4-1, 2.50 ERA

5 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 6 K, 2.13 ERA

5.1 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 10 K, Win 3-2, 3.69 ERA

6 IP, 4 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, 2.70 ERA
RHP Ryan Atkinson (HiA Visalia – Arizona) 24 years old
6 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, Win 4-1, 1.64 ERA

National League – Relief
RHP Parker Curry (HiA Rancho Cucamonga – Los Angeles Dodgers) 23 years old
3 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 6 K, Win 2-1, 2.53 ERA
  • Signed as a non-drafted free agent back in July, Curry made his pro debut this spring with LoA Great Lakes, posting a 1.88 ERA over five appearances; including one start. He received a promotion to RC in late April.

TOP AL UTR PITCHING PERFORMANCE

Season Stats: 3-2, 1.95 ERA, 32.1 IP, 20 H, 7 ER, 12 BB, 44 K in 6 starts
  • The Indians top pitching prospect was absolutely dominant last night striking out a career-high 14 of the 19 batters he faced. McKenzie was my Indians top prospect pitcher for April.
