    • Normally a line like this wouldn’t make my UTR HOD, however, Palacios deserves great attention. In Palacio’s first 5 games in the Gulf Coast League this season, he logged only one hit in 19 at-bats (.053), with zero runs scored, four RBi’s, two walks and six strikeouts. Since then, it’s been a complete 180 for the 6’0’- 150 lb. Venezuelan. The 19 year old has collected a hit in 28 of his last 30 games including 21 multi-hit games, and is currently riding back-to-back 12-game hit streaks. His current, he’s batting .462 (24-52); which is a slightly higher average than his overall minor league leading season average of .432 between the GCL and rookie Elizabethton.
