May 30, 2015 – Under the Radar Pitcher Performances (Another Early Riser and White Rabbits)

 by Jim Brown
Marc started his piece today lamenting over how he got an early start this morning and how fortunate he was, as we were faced with new boxscores from the DSL to breakdown. I was in the same situation this morning, arising at 4:45am, but it wasn’t my dog asking to go outside. It was the annoyance of an alarm alerting me that I had to go into the office today. As I prepared myself, the timeline of the day was spinning in my head….knowing what I had to accomplish at work and getting home to hammer through the newly added boxscores. I headed out the door with a gameplan and by the way….my dog?…..snoring so loudly, that it was rattling the mini-blinds. Even he was smart enough to know it was wayyy too early to get up on a Sunday morning. The morning progressed as planned at work….in acquiring some quiet time in the office in preparation for a busy Summer. When I headed home?….that’s when the game plan changed…….as my wife had her own agenda in running errands…UTR took a backseat and thus I’m late getting my post out today…lol.
Sidenote……my annoying alarm came via a new cellphone, which I can attest, I will never sleep through… technology is great, even though it’s been only two years since my last new phone. And when did renewing a phone plan become a marathon event, as buying a car or house? I’ll take some partial blame….in having A LOT of stuff that needed transferred.
Anyways….DSL arrives today, which will soon begin a format change for when the Rookie Leagues start in a couple weeks. UTR Mentions will become tougher to come by, as I will be giving you the best UTR Performance from each league. Look for that to start in the coming days. Remember…..tomorrow morning to repeat the phrase “White Rabbit” 3 times when you first wake up. They say it will provide you good luck for the month, if you do this on the 1st morning of the new month.
