    • Normally a 1-for-4 with a lone run scored wouldn’t come close to making the UTR HOD list. However, it’s how the 5’10” – 165 lb. Honolulu, HI native scored his game winning run that gets him on the list.  The Crawdad’s and Sand Gnats battled to a 2-2 tie after 9 innings; and Savannah failed to score in the top of the 10th. Kinder-Falefa led off the bottom of the 10th with a single to right field, then reached second base on a sacrifice bunt. After a Michael De Leon intentional walk and multiple HOD honoree Luke Tendler up to bat, Savannah (NYM) reliever Alberto Baldonado uncorked a wild pitch, allowing Kiner-Falefa to advance to third base. After Luke Tendler drew another intentional walk, then a strikeout of Jairo Beras, Kiner-Falefa scored on a two-out walk-off balk by Baldonado. An outing that only Hickory fans and Baldonado’s mother could love.
