Heading into 2014, the Baltimore system was viewed as a ‘middle ground’ organization in regards to overall prospects in both the American and National Leagues.  The Orioles have always been a top heavy organization and their graduation rate has proven quite successful.  With SP Kevin Gausman and 2B Jonathan Schoop making their mark with the big league club, this left a bit of a prospect hole with all due respect to SP’s Hunter Harvey and Dylan Bundy.  I think Baltimore takes a hit in overall ranking this coming season.  Several hitters are good/solid, but the system needs improvement to become great again.  I feel catcher Chance Sisco has the skills to become one of Baltimore’s better hitting prospects (at a premium position to boot) and third baseman Drew Dosch’ official debut season was a big success after missing all of 2013 with a knee injury.  Both Dosch and Sisco were amongst the organizational leaders in on-base percentage; and I could see aggressive 2015 assignments to HiA Delmarva  giving both a possible boost in offense.
