*2014 UTR Breakout – Sulser gets his first win of the season after some hard luck losses and poor fielding. Of the 55 errors committed by the Mudcats thus far, 13 have been occurred during Sulser’s starts. The 25th Rd pick in 2013 has surrendered 28 runs over 37 IP, of which 20 were earned.

SP Taylor Cole (HiA Dundin – Toronto) 24 years old
6.2 Innings, 5 Hits, 3 ER, 1 BB, 10 K, Win (3-2) – SP\TPS .068

*5-Time UTR POD Mention – Breakout season for Cole who was a 29th Rd pick in 2011 out of BYU. He’s outperforming all the league averages in peripherals with the most glaring is the 27.4% strikeouts swinging. Cole’s 10 K’s last night sets a career high. He has given up more that 2 earned runs only once, 3 ER on April 21st. His 2013 TPS of .121 ranked near the bottom amongst all the pitchers in the Blue Jays system.
